Food and Restaurant

Empowering women and youth in the food industry

WOVIA is proud to have educated two of its young people in Catering and Hotel Business. One of our young people, Sammy also known as 'Steppah' recently graduated from the Kenya Technical institute in Food Mechanics*. He is excited to also be doing his internship at one of WOVIA's projects, a Baking and restaurant business. He has been selling his food to the residents and workers in Karen and is confident that following his internship, he will  begin his own successful chain of restaurant. He says that now that he has a good education, the sky is not even a limit for him.

WOVIA supports young children from families with parents who for one reason or the other are struggling to support their children through school. WOVIA carefully selects children who are also aligned with the vision of the society and are keen to give back to the society once they complete their studies. WOVIA encourages every affiliate to support other students joining the sponsorship programme in the future.
