Empowerment through Bread
The Baking business has been started to provide employment to young women and men and to mentor them to be able to start their own businesses. The project is intended to tackle the challenge of unemployment amongst our Youth. The bread produced is sold in the environs of Karen and is intended to provide quality but affordable food to the workers and residents in Karen area and the surrounding. The funds raised from the project also go into educating other young children taking them through high school and college. The project is giving hope to many young children. WOVIA is looking to raise more funds purchase a larger oven in order to generate more funds. We are seeking partners and donors in this area.
