Empowering Lives

WOVIA has identified a gap in our society. Whereas there are already microfinance institutions, fintech and other lending institutions that have ready cash to lend, there are not many institutions that can provide capacity building, trainings and link women and youth to markets, opportunities and technology. WOVIA is filling this gap through various programmes.

Our Projects

WOVIA has designed various projects that women and youth can plug into and find their way from there. We aim to provide a starting point into a specific line of business that is of interest to each woman

Agribusiness

WOVIA aims to engage women and youth in agricultural activities to create employment and increase incomes. Given that Agriculture remains the number one GDP earner in Kenya and many other African countries, it remains an important source of employment for women and youth.

Clothing is a key element to promote a woman's dignity. WOVIA aims to provide affordable clothing to all women and their families making them look and feel beautiful. While doing this, women who engage in this also get a source of income and it changes their lives.

Food & Restaurant
