Empowering Women through Crafts
WOVIA often has an open day when women members come together and show their crafts and all they have created giving other members a chance to support them. Some of these include beaded necklaces, earrings, bangles, bags and other crafts made with the 'Maasai' design. Other women bring some of their stock of clothes including clothing items that they have designed and sewed. There are happily bought by other members because they have been made accessible and prices are usually available.
WOVIA is planning an arts and crafts day soon and would like to invite all to come and take part, sell some of your goods, buy for others and enjoy in the beverages and snacks that will be available.
